This statue of St. Paul is only 10" tall making it ideal to place on a shelf or desk. It can serve as a wonderful reminder of St. Paul's contributions to the Church.
St. Paul was originally known as Saul of Tarsus and spent his time persecuting Christians. It was not until his conversion that he became one of the most influential figures in the Christian Faith. On the road to Damascus, Saul experienced a vision of the ascended Jesus where Jesus asked him why he was persecuting Him. The vision left him blind for three days. At the end of the three days Saul got baptized. He then went on to proclaim that Jesus is the Son of God and is known for the letters he wrote that focused on the relationship between God the Father and Jesus, and on the mystical human relationship with the divine. He was beheaded in Rome, Italy.
