St. Michael is one of the three archangels mentioned in the Bible. He has four roles in the Catholic Church. First, he is the leader of the Army of Angles; second, he is the angel that carries souls to Heaven; third, he weighs souls on a scale, in order to tell if they are worthy to go to Heaven or not; and fourth, he is the guardian of the Catholic Church. Because he is not a canonized saint, St. Michael is not called a patron saint but is called a guardian. He is the Guardian of the Catholic Church, Vatican City, sickness, police officers, and the military.
The statue stands 18" tall and weighs 2.6 kg, making it the perfect size for a garden.
