St. Expedito was a Roman centurion who was martyred around Arpil 303, because he converted to Christianity. Not much is known about him, but there are a few legends. When he converted to Christianity, Satan turned into a crow or snake, depending on the version of the legend, and told St. Expedito to wait to become Christian until the next day. The brave saint asserted "I'll be a Christian today!" and stomped on the crow.
The statue is 8.5" tall and weighs only 8.5 g.
