The sacred heart has much symbolism in it. Mary's heart being outside of her represents her love for us. The fire around her heart shows the intensity of her love. The white roses represent the purity of her heart, while the light beaming from her hearts alludes to Revelation 12:1 where is says, “a woman clothed with the sun.”
