This 9.5" statue of Our Lady of the Streets is based on the painting by Roberto Ferruzzi, created in 1897. His models were Angelina Cian, who was 11 years old, and her younger brother. At the time, Ferruzzi did not intend the painting to be of the Holy Mother and Child; however, throughout the years it has become a popular representation of Mary and Jesus. The statue is made from composite marble.
