During World War I, Pope Benedict XV made a plea with the Blessed Virgin for peace in the world. A week after imploring her help, Our Lady appeared to three children in the town of Fatima. She appeared to them six times and revealed to them three secrets: firstly of Hell, secondly of World Wars I and II, and thirdly of the persecution of Christians in the 20th century.
This statue stands as a reminder of Our Lady of Fatima and the importance of praying the rosary. It stands 10.5" tall and is 5" long.
